Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
Utilizing techniques from a variety of different disciplines, MMA prepares the student for all ranges of combat. Students are taught striking with the hands, feet, knees, and elbows as well as takedowns and groundfighting. An emphasis is placed on conditioning as well as preparation for MMA competition. Equipment needed includes MMA gloves, headgear, mouthpiece, 16 oz. boxing gloves, cup, and shin/instep guards.
